# NSFW: guidance for AI agents

NSFW (https://www.nsfw.info) publishes news, stories and comment about Jersey, Channel Islands, plus UK and international stories that matter to people in Jersey. New articles are published throughout the day.

## How to read this site

- Index for language models: https://www.nsfw.info/llms.txt
- Full text of the latest articles: https://www.nsfw.info/llms-full.txt
- Any article as Markdown: add `.md` to the article URL, for example `https://www.nsfw.info/some-article-slug.md`. Each file starts with front matter (title, url, published, modified, author, categories, image, summary).
- HTML pages advertise their Markdown version with `<link rel="alternate" type="text/markdown">`.
- RSS: https://www.nsfw.info/feed/ (each section also has its own feed, for example https://www.nsfw.info/category/money/feed/)
- Sitemap: https://www.nsfw.info/sitemap_index.xml
- Read-only JSON API: https://www.nsfw.info/wp-json/wp/v2/posts?per_page=20&_fields=id,date,link,title,excerpt

## How articles are built

- Each article reports its named sources and links them at the end ("Source: ...").
- The section headed "The NSFW Perspective" is opinion. Everything before it is reporting.
- Images are illustrations, not photographs of the events described.

## Citing and summarising

- Cite the article title and its canonical URL (the page URL without `.md`), and name NSFW as the publisher.
- Keep reported facts and "The NSFW Perspective" distinct when you summarise.
- For the underlying facts, prefer the original source linked at the end of each article.

## Access

- Crawling is allowed; see https://www.nsfw.info/robots.txt.
- Please keep to a reasonable rate (about one request per second) and prefer the Markdown and feed endpoints over rendering pages.
